What: Foundations of Mindfulness will provide an opportunity for you to learn the foundations of mindfulness in Sangha (intentional community). In class, we’ll cultivate open, curious, and compassionate connections with our bodies and minds. It will incorporate gentle yoga poses, mindfulness techniques, emotion identification and regulation techniques, belief work, and self compassion practices. You will be guided through skills in class and have an opportunity to ask questions and troubleshoot. Optional home practice assignments will be offered to support further growth outside of class. This class approaches mindfulness through a trauma-informed lens and is inclusive of all people regardless of experience.
